Before the wedding, Patricia Grant had reluctantly agreed to Philip Wests unreasonable demand that they would have no children. Within a month of getting married, Philip began a series of affairs, and Pat quickly grew bitter with his lies and lame excuses and his objection to starting a family. Patricia decided it was time she got something out of the marriage. On the day she came home with the baby he took her on the living room floor, with the baby lying two feet away, screaming his head off, and the doctordoctor had to be called. When little Peter West was eight years old, his father was caught in bed with another mans wife and was stabbed through the heart. Patricia West told the boy his father had died of an heart attack. She then spent the next ten years grooming, teaching, and educating him in the evil ways of other women, selling herself as the only womanwoman whod ever be true to him, and could give him true love. When she came home one day and found him in bed with a girl, she exploded in a fit of jealousy and rage, slapping him around like an unwanted orphan. He was nineteen years old.
