All my nonfiction books are exercises in logic. For instance, you might start with the premise that Christianity is true, or more specifically that scriptures such as 1 Timothy 3. 16, Colossians 2. 8-10 and John 1. 1-14 are true. These tell us Jesus is God. So, if Jesus is God, if John 1. 1-14 is true, then it stands to reason you can trust what God is saying in John 15. 6: those who do not abide in Jesus are like sticks which are gathered up and tossed into the flames.

So, if both John 1. 1-14 and John 15. 6 are truth, you would tend to think Acts 26. 13-18 is also true. Acts 26. 13-18 says God has given St. Paul a mission, a mission to turn people away from the power of satan and to the power of God.

And if Acts 26. 13-18 is true, then it's crazy to say 1 Corinthians 6. 9-10 a big lie. 1 Corinthians 6. 9-10 says drunkards, fornicators, adulterers, revilers, homosexuals, extortionists will not go to heaven.

The Devil leads people away from heaven and to perdition. So, a person is like the Devil if he tells homosexuals that they don't need to change to go to heaven, if in fact they must change in order to escape perdition and attain heaven. If one is leading people away from heaven and to perdition, by telling them they don't need to change, when they must change to attain heaven and escape perdition, then he is acting like the Devil. One can hardly expect to attain heaven and escape perdition if one is acting like the Devil.

Of course everyone struggles with sin. 1 Corinthians 6. 9-10 is not focused exclusively on homosexuals. Perhaps there are various techniques and creative strategies to help homosexuals out their predicament?

If a Christian is berated by the public as hater, a homophobe, a narrow-minded bigot, a brainless fool, a neanderthal, a deplorable etc, if he pushes 1 Corinthians 6. 9-10, but if the Christian is lauded by the public as loving and broad-minded and intelligent and wise and enlightened if he rejects 1 Corinthians 6. 9-10, then the Christian will feel lots of pressure to reject 1 Corinthians 6. 9-10. Of course it makes no sense to reject 1 Corinthians 6. 9-10 if Acts 26. 13-18 is true. If Acts 26. 13-18 is true, then 1 Timothy 3. 16 is true, and so John 1. 1-14 is true, and so John 15. 6 is true...

Why would a person, like a liberal Protestant, embrace John 1. 1-14 but reject John 15. 6? Well, if he suffers scorn and ridicule from people who hate John 15. 6, then he might reject John 15. 6, so that he escapes the scorn of people who hate John 15. 6. But if a liberal Protestant gets shipped off to a hot hell by God for heresy, for the heresy of rejecting John 15. 6, and thus rejecting also John 14. 23-26, then the liberal Protestant's thought process in rejecting John 15. 6 was not so hot.

So, if John 1. 1-14 and John 15. 6 are true, then what are some other New Testament scriptures that are true? What do you think about Matthew 25. 31-46? Luke 13. 3? Acts 26. 13-18? 1 Corinthians 6. 9-10? 1 Corinthians 11. 27? Galatians 1. 8-12? Revelation 20. 12-15?

What do you think about 2 Thess 1. 8? It mentions helfire for those who don't know God and who don't obey the Gospel of Jesus Christ. If 2 Thess 1. 8 is false then you would probably have to conclude that 2 Thess 2 is also false. 2 Thess 2 deals with the Antichrist and strong delusion.

If 2 Thess 2 is true then it is stupid to think 2 Thess 1. 8 is untrue. Lots of people say 2 Thess 1. 8 is a falsehood! Society doesn't throw much abuse at you for saying 2 Thess 2 is true. But society throws lots of abuse at you if you say 2 Thess 1. 8 is true. Yes, lots of people will call you a hater, a bigot, a moron, a brainless fool if you say 2 Thess 1. 8 is true. And of course those who say 2 Thess 1. 8 is false are heading down a road leading straight to eternal perdition if in fact 2 Thess 1. 8 is true. So they are hardly geniuses.
