颈前结喉两侧炎症性肿块性疾患，称谓瘿痈。其特点是颈中两侧结块，皮色不变、微有灼热、疼痛牵引至耳后枕部，常伴发热、头痛等症状，较少化脓。瘿痈的病因多因风温、风火客于肺胃，内有肝郁胃热，积热上壅，挟痰蕴结，以致气血凝滞，郁而化热所致。本病的治疗宜疏风清热化痰及舒肝清热，化痰消肿。
