When chickens try to fly

Italy, a not too distant future. The world is governed by the “zombies”, sentient beings that act under the control of inputs transmitted to their brains (or to what’s left of them) by nanorobots. Those were introduced into their bodies by an anti-age cream, the Eternal, created by doctor Adam Knox and his son-in-law, Samuel James Kelly, with unexpected collateral effects.
The few surviving humans live in little groups, away from the cities, constantly running away from the zombies. Claudia, a girl with evident psychic disturbs, gets caught by a zombie squad, whose leader is a reckless yet mysterious woman. Much against their will, they will have to face the apocalypse together.
