The world and humanity as you know it is dead. The year is 2396 and it has been over 160 years since the War of Annihilation, the war that had ended it all. The Tech City Chronicles follow Art Logan, a Tech City mind hacker, as he struggles to overcome his addiction to technology while confronting humanity's worst evils.

"Inside the fluid-filled bag in my room I lay and waited. I usually purge myself before, depending on the duration, then I get comfortable. I lay in the compartment within the wall of my 300sq ft room and become its fixture. Its mostly grey here, so you could call it stark, yeah stark, aside from the dim blue laser diodes above my bed and antithetic veins of plumbing that adorn my ceiling and walls. My fingers groped the underside of my left forearm for the activation button of my ECNIS (Electro Chemical Neural Interface System) which is hardwired into my peripheral nerve."
