The book,STAND UP !For What You Believe In, is about Ronald's childhood and his legacy in the SIT-IN MOVEMENTin Greensboro,North Carolina at the Woolworth Lunch Counter in 1968. Ronald, his cousin Mark Martin, and James Patterson all helped to make a difference in all of our lives.Inspiring children, parents, communities who have read this book is to speak the truth, speak out, stand up,to urge and give hope to people who may be reluctant to speak out. Sometimes in life we go along with the crowd whether the crowd is right or wrong in their strageties. I believe an individual has a choice to stand up for what he or she believes in and be held accountable. For the students who may be under 18 years of age, talk to their parents and inform their of the issue, they want to stand up to. In a more spiritual ream in life,i like to recall that "Jesus called his disciples and said to them. If anyone intends to come after Me. let himdeny(forget, ignore, disown, and lose sight of himself and his own interest) and take up his cross, and (joining siding with My party) follow with Me (continually, cleaving steadfastly to Me).
