Stage Three: Rod Richards Returns contains three books in the my fictional Three and Out Trilogy. The first book is The Saga of A San Francisco Apartment Manager which embodies humor on a true-life, fiction platform. The book highlights the interpersonal relationships of the diverse and interesting characters who reside there as they interface with the manager Rod Richards, the owner of the building and each other. The second book is Murder in a San Antonio Psych Hospital where an embedded CIA female agent was found murdered in the hospital dayroom. The government suspects a new al-Qaeda is forming in the downtown area. Rod Richards, the hospital administrator, is in the middle of a major crime scene investigation while trying to prepare the hospital for its upcoming visit by the national accrediting agencies for hospitals. The third book is The Chicago Terminus, a drama-thriller that focuses on Rod Richards joining a private investigation agency on downtown Chicago. He gets in over his head on two high-profile investigations. He is assigned the task to conduct surveillance on the owner of a large trucking operation and possible candidate for Democratic governor of the state. A second assignment tasks Richards to find the son of a Vietnamese restaurant magnate who" reportedly" was still in a state prison.
