Queen of the Forest II

Peace talks and steamy backroom lovemaking between Prince Darrian of the elves and Queen Haruko have gone well. With both leaders giving speeches to their people, urging tolerance and peace and extolling the virtues of the other race, tensions have begun to ease. With the king of elves near death, Darrian is set to become ruler of his people. But first, according to custom, he must marry. Potential brides nearly line up at the door, but Darrian turns them away and publicly proposes to Haruko. On the surface, it is a political marriage meant to unify the peoples of the forest under one banner as King and Queen of the Forest. But there are many who are against an interspecies marriage, and Darrian and Haruko are faced with many trials before their wedding night. But the bond between them is strong, and as Darrian and Haruko thoroughly consummate their marriage, they unite their people and their own lives forever.
