PURPLE IS FOR SEARCHING is a book for children.of all ages. Or perhaps it is really, simply a children's book for adults. Enjoy with a spot of tea a cup of coffee or
a mug of hot chocolate and, if you dare, with some nice Lemon-Blueberry Scones (see recipe at end of the book).
Written in the early 70s, and In deference to that period and the struggles particularly of its youth, I have chosen to leave this book pretty much as I wrote it back then. This would be a different work if I wrote it today.My intent was to simply make a statement of the times, and in particular to give the reader a nudge in thinking about issues and ideas that might have a positive influence on this world of ours. As such, I do not feel this work is dated at all. I hope you enjoy it for what it is. Please pass it along to a friend, acquaintance, or anyone who you feel may also enjoy its message or anyone who you feel is particularly, "purply," on occasion. 50% of all author proceeds donated to cancer research, cancer treatment, or children's charities.
