Over Under

Twenty-three year old Brooke Michaels and twenty-five year old Alex Blake have a three year history that is nearing extinction. With a past that has been less than stellar they are faced with a decision after a night shared at Alex’s city apartment. Light another match or let the flame die?

After sharing breakfast at a local diner, they reminisce silently about all that the past has contained, good, bad, and ugly. Brooke remembers Valentines Day and his plea for her to come to him, and how she caved but thought about nothing but the girls that appeared in between their time together. Alex thought of when they told each other they loved each other. How she said it first and how he waited and waited and when he finally gained the courage the night went to hell. Drunkenly driving her home and then proceeding to make a fool of him self.

But after a night spent between the sheets, the loves must decide. Brook is skeptical about the decision to insert her self back into the relationship, while Alex wants nothing more than for her to be his own again. Two people who once burned bright breach the age of extinction. It is left up to Brooke to decide whether or not the flame is worth it.
