FOREWORD

It is my delight to offer this foreword on the behalf of Hennie van Niekerk. Over the past years it has been my privilege to come to know this man closely as a pastor, mentor and friend. The message he brings on dreams and visions is both clear and exciting, and above all down to earth. Yet most significantly, it is a message he has experienced through his own lifestyle and life decisions.

There is generally much uncertainty concerning the interpretation of dreams and visions. This timely book gives a Biblical perspective on this subject.  It contains practical insight on how to receive revelation from God and how to interpret that which is received. The main goal of this book is to give a Biblical perspective that can equip and enable us to find the answers and meaning in our own dreams. It is not a work to convince the skeptics, but rather intended to feed and equip the hungry.

The writer’s aim is to inspire people to receive their own revelations from the Holy Spirit. Much of the information contained in this book is based on the revelations, and the interpretation thereof, received by members of his congregations over the years.

This book is born out of study, experience and opportunity. Study, in that the writer has devoted several years of his life to the spiritual quest of one who attempts to rightfully handle the Word of Truth. Experience, in that many significant dreams and visions from the Lord have proved helpful and true over the years, both in his own life and in those around him. Opportunity*,* in that now, more than ever, a book on this subject will be of great benefit to the church as we press ever onwards in these last days unto the great and final day of the Lord.

The Bible challenges us to “rightly divide the Word of Truth”. It is my prayer that this book will help us to rightly divide the truths regarding the significance of dreams and visions.

*“*None of them shall teach his neighbour, and none his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord, for all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them.’”

Hebrews 8:11
