The role of United Nations in the prevention of discrimination and crime against children is the primary focus of the book. The UN has from time to time evolved new protocols for the countries to follow to ensure justice to children. The role of agencies of the UN is also highlighted. Children are the future for any nation. It is important that a child grows to its potential. Also, in the recent times, it has been clearly established that the nation owes as duty/obligation to help the child in achieving the potential. The State has to provide opportunity for the child to grow to the maximum level. However, the discrimination and crime against the children in the recent times especially the World Wars and conflicts have led to the pro-active calling of nations to bestow rights to the citizen including children. All children have the right to grow in an environment suitable to conquer their dreams.
