A biographical narrative of a South African Indian, how he grew up in Johannesburg, and his subsequent emigration to New Zealand.
This story, like its central character, has many flaws, but its saving grace is a reflection of the passion, enthusiasm and caring nature that he weaves between the lines. It comes from the heart, is raw, unsullied by convention and defies many of the rules of what is expected of good writing. Yet it is a great story that needs to be told … if for no other reason than you might have the courage to tell your own.
The purpose of this book is to provide future grandchildren with breadcrumbs of the human condition, through the eyes of an everyday man. Writing this has forced me to get beyond the various roles we play and produce a 'real' book.
Having experienced adversity from a young age, Jeremy has managed to go deep into his psyche to dissect and ultimately obliterate the cliché that human beings become. As you journey with him in this thought-provoking yet lighthearted memoir, you will be inspired and motivated to pay attention to the simple things in life.
Jeremy is a positively infectious, rare individual who leaves an indelible impression on those fortunate enough to encounter his larger-than-life personality. By sharing his private thoughts he has injected meaning into sincerity and raw emotions.
This book begs the question – am I the best I can be or am I masquerading as a lousy someone else?

Review: *****
Jeremy expresses what we all know - life can be crap sometimes. This is a real book about real life and Jeremy has simply written what so many people experience, pain with questions. He doesn't provide any trite answers either, but from his experience holds up some values that have worked in his life and just might work in yours. Read the book in one session, you won't regret it. - Grant Harris - Senior Pastor | Windsor Park Baptist Church
