Hominin is the story of an evolutionary experiment gone terribly wrong. It explores the question, “what would happen if we were able to make a hybrid between a human and a chimpanzee?” How would society, scientists, and the media react? The author is a primatologist with many years experience studying wild chimpanzees, and he uses those observations to construct a realistic picture of the hybrids, their behavior and their minds.
