When a college girl gets her purse stolen on the last leg of a journey home from college she decides to just hitchhike the rest of the way. Careful of who she chooses a ride from, she finally gets in the car of three older women. In the darkness of the early evening they stop at a motel. The girl is going to just carry on, but the women insist it’s too dangerous and offer to let her stay with them for the night.
