Mallaine Dirgess fell from grace long ago, much to the chagrin of his godmother, Magdalena Godsend. Inexplicable shudders occur whenever Mallaine confronts demure earth angel Cecily Stratton, throwing off his confidence as a havoc-wreaker and soul stealer.
