Here’s a Hundred Dollars...Buy Yourself a Life is a novel that draws on the real life experiences of the author and a host of women who have at one time or the other, shared her life. The characters are fictional though the stories are real. As the tale unfolds, Cecile, the main character, who has finally found happiness, takes the reader through her emotional upheavals, failed relationships, domestic abuse, spiritual renewal and her own personal redemption from the pain of the past. The reader also shares in the lives of other women and a few men whose lives impacted hers. As the reader follows Cecile from Jamaica to Canada and back, they will experience many emotions of your own as you identify with many of the subject’s experiences.
