Dreamscapes is a series of 12 short stories capturing Astra Crompton's real dreaming experiences. Each short story aims to recapture the visual presentation of the dream through different narration styles and points of view. There is no running theme between them, aside from a varying component of fantasy. All will be collected in a print volume due out December 2012.

One Dreamscapes story will be epublished on the 7th of each month of 2012. January's offering is a gritty tale of perception, friendship and survival entitled "The Boxers".

In "The Boxers" a young protagonist is displaced by war and finds himself in the care of an ex-boxing champ. He and the other children housed in the old mansion are taught the skills of the sport that becomes a pivotal role in their survival as their lives progress.
