These stories are mostly true, based on situations involving our animals since moving to Hastings County in 1970. Do The Right Thing is intended for children aged 3 to 6. Each story contains a moral or two and some pretty cool animals. We can all learn from animals. This is my first venture into the field of children’s literature and hopefully not the last—a far cry from military history.
Bill is a retired high school teacher who taught History, Law, and English in Toronto, Belleville, Trenton, France, and Germany. He was born, raised, and educated (U of T class of 1963) in Toronto. He and his wife Ruth have three children and two precious grandchildren. His previous work includes My Grandfather’s War, Billy Bishop V.C., and Nine Hours.
