Chica, a baby Sugarmouth Fairy, gets lost and separated from her family during their journey to Mexico. Rescued by a group of English Sugarmouths, they take Chica to a proper English garden inhabited by Royal Garden Fairies and a Princess cat named Chloe. Melly and Ruby, two little English garden fairies, cannot wait for her to become a garden fairy. They are all very surprised when she instead turns into a Spanish Garden fairy and announces her arrival in Spanish. “Hola, Aqui Estoy.” With long black hair, hoop earrings, bangle bracelets, and an adventurous personality, Chica transforms the English garden into a Fiesta. The little garden fairies become best friends, and soon all three have hot pink, swishy skirts and turn the English garden upside down.

Melly, Ruby, and Chica decide to go to Mexico in search of her family with the help of Miss Monarch and Chloe.

They have one narrow escape after another, escaping black flying eaters, getting lost, and meeting new fairy families. Just when they finally get to Mexico, they fall into a magic Mayan River, turning them into Princess Fairies. And so, their adventures begin.
