Few T.V characters are true to life but 'Jack Frost' was the closest you will come to an English detective and Daniel Compton of Canonsfield is another. A murder quickly becomes a hunt for a serial killer and a psychic helps the investigation but tells them he will kill again. Serendipity Jenner provides uniform officers with a means to make trouble for Compton. Death without a motive is the hardest to investigate and where there are others the difficulty increases. Canonsfield is helped by other police forces and there are some anxious moments before an arrest is made and a suspect confirmed as the killer.
