Lauren Marsh lost her mother when she was only twelve and had to bring herself up whilst looking after her alcoholic father. Life was hard and mostly unpleasant as she was frequently the object of school bullies. Then she met Aiden, a rich, local boy who started to pay her attention and she began to feel good about herself. She soon found out that Aiden had an identical twin brother. They may have been identical in looks but they were the complete opposite in nature. One was kind and considerate the other ruthless and determined.
