Many men from the streets look at ballin’ as a ticket out of the hood. Some ball on the basketball court or football field. But consider the man whose soul is “bawlin’” while trying to find the true meaning of life. “Bawlin’” because of an internal battle between the man he was destined to be and the monster society equipped him to be. That was the war raging within the mind of Church socks.

Growing up on the mean streets of Pittsburgh, Church Socks received a plethora of inspirational guidance yet was heavily influenced by the streets. Would these worlds collide or destroy him? Or would life fertilize the seed of wisdom planted in him at an early age and allow his greatness to emerge?

Bawlin’ Outta Control is a heartfelt, transparent narrative of the world through the eyes of Church Socks—a man at war with himself while on a journey called life.
