A serial killer has been murdering prostitutes in major league baseball cities for over twenty years. Since the crimes occured in different jurisdictions spaced widely apart, the police didn't recognize a pattern. A young journalist realizes that the three murders in Montreal are identical to one in Toronto, and also to cities located in the United States.
