This book is a collection of seven stories based on the history of 26 letters of the English alphabet.  The appearance of the letters of the English alphabet has evolved over the centuries, as they travelled across many countries.

The Roman alphabet was copied from the Etruscan alphabet, which in turn, was copied from the Greek alphabet. The letters of the English alphabet came from the Roman alphabet, which only had 23 letters. The remaining three letters W, V and W were only added later. W was the 24th letter to join the English alphabet, before V and J.   The last letter to be added to the English alphabet was J. The letters V and W were considered to be U’s daughters**. ** There was a failed attempt to remove Z from the English language. When the letter C was added to the English language, G was banished for many centuries from the English language, only to be added again.
