Cindy is happily married. She has a great husband, a great career and a bright future. Except for one thing. Try as they might, Cindy and her husband cannot conceive the child they want. A little baby is the only thing in the world Cindy wants. They've looked at adoption, but the paperwork and the long wait times rules that out.
Unable to sleep one night, Cindy decides to head to the 24/hr. Gym. It will be a perfect place to be alone with her thoughts, and some strenuous exercise will help her sleep. But she didn't count on running into her old boyfriend, Brent. Her old boyfriend who Cindy always felt terrible for the way she treated. Well, he's back in town and working the night shift at the Gym. Catching up on old times, leads to an awkward situation. Brent is looking for lost love, but Cindy has different plans.
