The number of bobbins and the thread used are also noted. Not only are there 100 traditiooat patterns contained within this book. but the majority have an unusual or interesting feature in their construction not readily observed or pethaps fully appreciated at first glance. Some of the patterns have been sligltly adapted from the original to complement modern threads and all have been painstakingly researched from various museums.
